Hi, I'm going to an Open House for an apartment in this building. Does anyone currently live in this building or know anything about it? I'd love any information—both positive and negative. Thank you so much. (I'm looking to buy a junior 4 here—not rent) Khoi

It was built as a high-rise garage, and then became a warehouse, so the floor slabs are heavier and more sound-resistant than newer construction. The big fancy baths were a selling point when it converted in 1984.

The B line (J line on higher floors) apartments have their long walls on the eastern lot line, so were built as studios with one long room. The walls to form bedrooms were done by early owners. Somebody even carved two bedrooms and a living room out of that one long room, and split the big bath into two.
