hi there - does anyone live/have you recently lived here? We are thinking about buying, and would love any feedback. Maintenance charges seem high... are the buildings financials ok? Thanks in advance!

Unreasonable in what way? These studios are beautiful with lots of potential. Seems none have views except perhaps the penthouses.

I agree with roygbiv. I was in contract for about 6 months, submitted 3 versions of a board package, was invited to interview, then was rejected after waiting around for a few weeks, which is highly unusual. I am an Ivy-league grad, work in finance, have terrific credit and savings, solid job history, and even got my parents as co-buyers and co-borrowers at the board's request. Oh also, I am a minority and unmarried. Buyer beware.

My daughter was just rejected after being in contract for 4 months, same story as AZQ, we did everything the board requested, didn't want to co purchase but decided to and went through months of stress submitting everything they requested. We all have outstanding credit and my daughter also has a solid career and very competitive salary, and solid savings. She is now out a couple of thousand dollars and all of us left totally bewildered...I would stay far away from this building!

You definitely have credibility citing your solid savings and salary when you then complain about a couple thousand dollars.
