How Brazilian cherry floor to lose the red color

Hi all I am sanding down a Brazilian Cherry floor and it is just too red for my liking. I much prefer a light Oak color. What can I do to get that color or at worst a medium brown color. Don't want to go dark. Many thanks in advance for any tips.

I once owned an apartment with Brazilian Cherry floors and had to deal with it. Our flooring person used a mix of ebony and dark walnut to create a deep chocolate. The greenish cast of the ebony helped cut some of the red in the cherry. We had to go darker to achieve a less-red color. From my experience it may be difficult to achieve a medium tone.
