Permits timing?

How long on average does it take to get all the permits for a gut renovation? Our permits for demolition felt like immediate approval. The rest of the permits are taking months and months... Wanted to see what the average timing was, though I guess there might be no "average" or "typical" experience. Basically the permits are to gut renovate a townhouse property and convert it from 2 family into 1.

There really is no great answer. I assume its an alt 1 filing? That could take months and months. Your best bet is to call your expeditor and ask them as they are at the building dept just about every day. Good luck

Thanks, Primer. Months and months seems like it. The expeditor/architect told us yesterday that they expect it may take up to 2 months longer.... It is an Alt 1 filing. Patience is required, we were warned!
