Expanding the closet on a new dev

Do you know if I will need a building permit to extend my closet 2 feet and turning it from reach-in to walk-in closet in a condo unit? It's gonna be easy work just removing doors and adding sheetrock wall.

Generally I would say you do not need a permit, however your building might require it. I would just call the management company and ask them

Building does not need to know something this minor unless you are moving bathroom/ kitchens. Just do it.
