Sounds like they're under water...
"The entire renovation took six months and cost nearly half the apartment’s worth. The feel recalls the Salvatis’ 6,500-square-foot home in Colts Neck, which is decorated in a similar style."

How much extra do you have to pay to get it unfurnished?
Inspired perhaps by the Amber Room in the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg?
Medici palace shrunk except for the decor.
I cannot imagine the cost for all that millwork. Sweet jaysus.....
The Grand Prospect Hall has moved to Manhattan!
Medici palace is much nicer...
It is so... special right now, that there will be few buyers on the line and one can maybe get it a a discount.
Because nothing says "Venetian palace" quite like Thomas Kinkade and glass-topped dining tables.
Purchased at the top of '08 and listed six months later? Geez, a failed flip of yesteryear no doubt? Oddly enough, they might have a better chance selling it now than before. I was hoping that the balcony might have a waterfall, but alas, no picture.
AUUUGGHHH! My EYES! My EYES! I'M BLIND!
is this an example of what Primer would consider top quality finishes?
Balconies don't have waterfalls - they have human falls.

I'm buying this place
It's where...
"All your dreams come true!"
(better warn the neighbors about the hot dogs chasing the bagels)
Ugh C0lumbia C0unty.
Best course of action would be a zoning variance allowing apartment to operate as a catering hall (with [smorgas]board approval, of course.)
The residents would just love it, what with guests for weekend affairs crowding the lobby & resulting elevator bottlenecks, with a band trying to stuff their equipment in one while a Viennese Table is shoved into the other. Can you imagine?!? What a scenario.
As if Sofrito wasn't already enough for them...now this...
