Usually architects will have a preferred expediter -- do you have an architect?

Don't have an architect yet. The project is too small. The cost with the architect will easily double.

You will need Architect to do the drawings for DOB and sign-off

You won't be able to file without an architect. I have plenty of expeditors that I can refer, but... it's going to be useless if you have unstamped/signed drawings and paperwork.

Thanks all. In general, when the project is small, architects don't want to bother with it ( the job would be referred to an expeditor anyway ). Expeditors have drafters who do the drawings and get the stamp from an architect. Looks like no matter which way you go, the magic number is 5k-6.5k for a project.
