Discussion about 130 Barrow Street #PH507
A rare and quick downtown listing with a freefalling price. Desperate seller alert! Nice looking place

this building is always a problem for sellers. It is extremely loud as most of the units face Christopher St. There is constant racket all night long on that block from the leather bar across the street(it might be gone by now)and the teenagers that congregate at all hours of the night at the end of Christoper at the Hudson river park. Coupled by the constant din of the westside highway and the far west location that makes getting anywhere difficult unless you are riding a bike. Oh, and don't forget zone A.

This unit is actually not that bad. It faces Barrow Street, you can hear some of the West Side Highway but not much. The building is quirky and works for some. The penthouse apartments in this building tend to be the most "normal". Its one of the rare condos in the area and the prices in this building have taken off incredibly since 2011 as have many non-luxury condos in the immediate area.

If the unit faces Barrow it is uncomfortably loud, broker spin not withstanding...
