Discussion about
I'm sure everyone has their favorites but the West Side has access to Central Park's outdoor running paths and is convenient to the G.W Bridge and that great cycling destination 9W. What do others think?
Riverbank State Park in Hamilton Heights...has a track, olympic sized pool, tennis courts, baseball field, and more
On the cheap end there is prospect lefferets gardens in brooklyn. Right near prospect park for running and biking. Also near the parade grounds with soccer, baseball and the bubble tennis courts. The huge YMCA armory conversion is also like a 10 minute jog away in south park slope.
Floyd Bennett Field, totally.
comparison price shopping....choose your venue. good for the arms and helps general brain problems.
c0lumbiac0unty, do you have good arms?
There is a severe dearth of hockey rinks in the city. Even when frozen water can be found people prefer to skate around in pointless circles without sticks. Very strange.
Are you telling us that the circles in Canada have points?
C0C0, as an American close to Canada, what do you think about Canadian circles that have points?
hell's kitchen lots of gay cardio, i love it.
Is that what they're calling it now?
Hands down it's Brownsville - especially if you're a runner.
Even if you aren't, you'll become one very quickly - especially when you hear the "starter's pistol" from time to time.
Reminds me of an old "Sanford & Son" episode, when Fred & Lamont were debating over a potential presidential candidate:
Lamont: "What makes you think he'll run?"
Fred: "Don't worry - when he comes to Watts he'll run!"
