Discussion about
Not sure if this is the right category for this question , but... I'm trying to help out a friend that's lived for years in a great old Hoboken warehouse full of artist.designer.musician but now the LL wants to sell bldg for redevelopment and is using some real strongarm tactics to scare everyone out. Friend is no kid and is having trouble finding a roomate or share situation in his very ltd budget that isn't with a bunch of kids. Has anyone thoughts of other resources for roomate-finding other than CL ? He wants to move to Brookklyn, btw. Thanks so much. B

Try www.listingsproject.com -- they cater primarily to artists and other "creative" types, but they do provide a niche for grownups looking for roommates.

Tell him to use all that insane amount of money he saved by renting and investing in Sprint to just buy a 1BR apt in NYC with cash.
