My fiance and I are moving to NYC next June and could not be more excited. We've been browsing apartments/neighborhoods and have come to the conclusion that we would most like to live in the UWS, West Village, or Tribeca (looking for a more neighborhoody feel, so the first two are probably more ideal than the latter - especially when price is factored in). I am working in finance and my office is in midtown, and I wanted to hear some additional opinions on areas to target and maybe even specific buildings in those neighborhoods. Thoughts on living in midtown? My firm upper limit on rent for a 1br is $3,000 a month, but am willing to go a slight bit higher if the building has a fitness center. Additionally, are there any buildings in Tribeca that would have a 1br available for $3,500 or less? The only building I've seen that matches that criteria is Truffles Tribeca. Thanks in advance! 95 worth/111 worth have around $3500 as well as 310 Greenwich.
