Will cancel "insider" if the new format stays!

Discussion about
Maybe we can put some pressure on them to bring back, if not the format we loved, at least the functionality? (Although, from the changes made, I suspect that maybe they no longer care about paid subscribers and are moving to a free - and useless - business model...) My personal insider subscription expires 10/21; if things are basically still the same as they have been since the "new" streeteasy debuted, I will be cancelling my subsciption 10/20... Who's with me?!?

Some other business needs to bring back the old streeteasy for the consumer. This model is for the broker

I prefer the "original" format, but see no reason to go overboard and cancel. It essentially still does what it always did, maybe just give it 30 days.

That said I would prefer they bring back the original, this did not work out for "new coke"...

I was just about to sign up for insider, but the new format is so much less useful that I'm going to hold off. Bring back sorting!

Zillow needs a guide to show the members here how to access info that was readily available or obvious previously.

I found price psf via clicking on NYC (I think) or was there another step after that? Can't remember. This is a labor intensive website which users do not need!

My insider subscription is cancelled.

Oh, I just looked at the new zillow front page of SE. They put the price psf back on first page. Now, please bump the discussion threads back to first page. One of the best features of SE is the discussion forum.

Nice to see the latest discussions at a glance without having to go to Community. Sheesh, all this work just so that we can tell zillow to GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL FORMAT WHICH WORKED!!!!

I cancelled. Instead of using StreetEasy as a model for redesigning Zillow, they've brought it down to their useless level.

What makes everyone think that "insider" status matters to Zillow. For SE, they needed the cash flow. Zillow has a different model, and selling display advertising isn't it either.

I am definitely cancelling if I am not allowed to export closed sales info so that i can manipulate the data on my own. an awesome feature of old format.

There's nothing to cancel. SE did away with for-money insider status back in January.

Go to your account settings, and you'll see a $10.89 charge for January, and then a small refund for however many days.

I never paid for "insider" status and never needed it.
I sold without streeteasy comps, at a few thousand below 500k in profit.
No streeteasy comps needed.

You can complain all you want but you will end up like the comment-posters on that "bring back the old streeteasy (or whatever the title of that discussion was):

Instead of allowing themselves to be shamed by those streeteasy commenters, who thought it was a good idea to "bump", re-bump, that thread:
Zillow just renovated the streeteasy website, so that the discussions are no longer on the "front page".
(why would Zillow want the streeteasy alkies and their ridiculous drunken trolling to be on the front page of the streeteasy website?)

I informed those posters that the streeteasy shaming was not working but they continued and now there is no Zillow-shaming available and the list of discussions is not on the front page.

Silly wabbits do stunandi things.
