Discussion about
Hey! After reading the article that Urban Compass received $20 more million in funding for a $150 valuation I wanted to know what experiences people have had? Every review I've seen has been a negative experience. Urban Compass seems to be a database of stolen listings and representatives that are called "neighbohood specialists" who actually have no specialty at all and are just recent college grads in need of a job. I didn't know if anyone would be willing to share. Thanks
Hello,
I’m director of engineering at Urban Compass, hopefully I can shed some light here with a few words about our approach. Transparency and Honesty are core values here at Urban Compass. Absolutely none of our listings are stolen, they come from sources we trust: many our specialists verify in-person, some come from landlords, some from management companies, and others come from brokers representing properties exclusively.
It is true many of our specialists have non-traditional backgrounds. We have invested in specialists that share our passion for delivering an exceptional experience. To ensure the high service bar we set for ourselves is met, we cultivate dialogue with every client we serve. We've found most Urban Compass clients have an absolutely fantastic experience, like Devindra Hardawar at Venturebeat.
Can you point me at those you have seen poorly served? We'll be thankful for the opportunity to learn what wasn't perfect.
