Discussion about
Question for streeteasy experts. Is it easy to remove a thick limestone tile and reinstall after fixing a shower valve? Do I need a plumber or tile person or both? We would like to maintain the high-end finish. Ab/rb/other experts, Will appreciate a reasonably priced plumber recommendation who can do this, Work is mostly tile as the shower valve is easy to replace ( I hope). Thanks.

As a contractor I think if someone tells you it was easy they did it wrong. You need a plumber and a tile person. The biggest problem will be to find a matching tile, unless you have extra from the same lot. If you do not the chances are grew that even if you hire the best people you will be able to notice a difference in stone.

I have a great plumber, you can email me at primerenovations@mac.com
