This is a sublet of the remaining of the rent of the person living in the apartment. Person living in the apartment does not know any of the rules of the coop. Cannot ask anything and he doesn't know who to contact either. very fishy.

If you need board consent to sublet and don't get it the Coop can
have you evicted

if you look at the building you can tell that it's not a coop, it's a condo. No coop approval needed.
