Discussion about
Where has everybody gone? West81, Ali, Kyle, UD, 30yrsinRe, other smart-non-crazies, is there some other place you're hanging out now that Streeteasy's board seems to be fading?
Hell ... but it's only a time-share so I'm not there full-time
Nowhere else. Just in the shadows here like a hospice worker.
kyle: lol.
not that I know of that has the data properly cleansed of poisonous errors..Im here too, just working on the new UD 2.0. This new site dev stuff is not ez!
Hi Joan!
I'm working on my holiday list -- when you're a small business, Christmas is kind of a production number -- but I'm here.
ali
XOX to all of the SE stalwarts. I love you all ~ the new SE, not so much. XOX
very little to comment on these days
re: very little to comment on these days
what you don't find fieldschester sniping back and forth with w67th or coco on every other thread highly compelling?
Just the fact that you call him C0C0 means I am winning.
I check this board about one a week but that's about to stop. Between fielschester dredging up 4 year old threads and W67 snipping back and forth this has become the most acrimonious and distasteful places to spend some time. I take part in a few boards relating to different topics and I have never seen anything like this.
The site was very useful and had some fun and I got very useful information when I was searching for and buying an apt a few years ago but no more. I even made a few bucks on S.
I'll check this thread for a day or so to see what others say and then I'll cancel my subscription.
GOOD LUCK, NOAH!
>Between fielschester dredging up 4 year old threads
First of all, I don't spell ieb wrong.
Second, have we hit $500 psf as promised?
With NYC RE going sky high this past year, looking at the listings here brings on depressing "priced out forever" thoughts. I do like seeing these entertaining threads from 2010, though!
I like the old threads too. Answers to bulk of the questions I had were easily found in old threads, and many of the old threads have great substance without the acrimony.
America was founded on acrimony. Humanity has evolved based on top of acrimony. Our legal system in which you participate requires acrimony. Yikes and his ex-wife had plenty of acrimony as well as just about anyone else who he has dealt with or come across.
hfscomm1 swore to wreck this place.
C0C0, you are back! It seemed like things were going south, fast, for you last week.
so you're here to gloat.
I'm happy for your C0C0! Happy!
of course you're happy.
you wrecked the place.
Are you Brian Holloway? What's your issue?
The discussion forum may get a bit off track occasionally, however you can still post a question and get some solid advice. The content is also still solid for those looking to purchase and do research. The format may not be as "clean" as before, but the information that is so important and makes this site so good is still all here.

c0lumbiac0unty, did you get your place cleaned up?
Looks like the link to the old format has been deactivated?
are you thrilled? seems to be working out exactly the way you wanted.
Hi C0C0! I see you are still here. What happened to w67thstreet?
you're an idiot.
Aboutready went to another site some time ago but them she returned. SE is the genuine site.
I must admit, after the turnover and the site changed, i have been stopping by less frequently. True, the message board here has remained largely unchanged (zillow is smart enough to not alienate its most... "vocal" followers right away), but still, even coming to the Streeteasy dot-com has become less inviting. Too bad. That's just what i am expexperiencing.
That being said, i also agree with KeithB; one can still find valuable information if one is fine with doing a bit of sifting. So it does still have some, if diminishing perhaps, value. On the issue of hanging out elsewhere, anyone particularly website savvy? SE 2.0 anyone??
"is there a Streeteasy substitute?"
You mean Zillow isn't a Streeteasy substitute? Sorry, my mistake. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Streeteasy - there is no substitute

Whatever happened to apt23? Did her husband get freed?
Streeteasy is the best tool you can use right now for any apartment searches. But, as always contact a knowledgable broker who can assist you with the most up-to-date information. Streeteasy will not let you know about listings that will come on the market soon...
I love fieldschester, but then again, I'm crazy.......................
Crazy about you too Riccardo
