These are insulating windows that by design have little to do with sound reduction -- they go on the outside of your windows. And I never heard of them. If your goal is sound reduction this is not the way to go.

Actually, they have a product that also goes inside of window. Someone in my building has them, but lives on the quieter side of the building so she is unable to give an opinion on the noise reduction aspect of the product

If you're looking for sound reduction, go with Citiproof. They have thicknesses of glass and spacing recommendation to address noise issues. I found it was well worth the money as they gave me the right solution and were very professional. They gave me a list of references, some of whom had been neighbors in another building. I contacted them as I knew the noise issues there. They were all happy with the soundproofing.

As an aside, I used the space between their window and the outside window as a mini-green house. My window sills were deep enough for that.

If you are interested in noise reduction and energy savings, the Quantapanel 600 Series -- which installs on the interior -- is a wise solution. The company does produce a product that installs on the exterior, but this is not recommended for noise reduction.
