Popcorn ceiling with asbestos

Hi, a question for the renovation pros. I was planning to remove my popcorn ceilings (2br around 1100 sqft), but unfortunately a test for asbestos came back positive. What are my options now? Is it safe to cover the ceilings with sheetrock (encapsulation)? I would very much prefer not to remove it now given the potential costs. Thanks in advance

we're facing the same problem. what did you end up doing for your ceilings?
