Allowed to rent out empty rooms in an HDFC?

Lookong to buy hdfc 2-3 bedroom. Just wondering if this is an allowed practice if I am living there as well.

Most propriety leases are very strict on who can reside in the apartment. Significant others usually are allowed by some boards, not sure about roommates. Our board would probably want a monthly fee to allow that .
