Discussion about
St. Tropez, 340 East 64th Street 340 East 64th Street #8D It's a condo, it's got a roof pool, it's got 2 bedrooms, it's got a mediocre view (at best), it's got an ask of $1,935,000 I'm getting that Rip Van Winkle feeling again.... $1,935,000........GEEZ LOUISE, have I been sleeping for 20 years? http://streeteasy.com/nyc/sale/1067610-condo-340-east-64th-street-lenox-hill-new-york?email=true
It definitely boggles the mind.
But then again some of the teeny tiny "prewars" on the UWS for ridiculous prices also boggle the mind.
This one is a good one to watch. If it sits, Elliman will drop the price as is their way. If it sells for anywhere near the ask, I would say welcome to the new bubble.
this can work for the buyer who is looking for a 3 bedroom condo and if you do a search for a 3 bedroom condos up to $2M on UES , nothing really good pops up .
falcongold1:
1. you havent been asleep for 20 years
2. just about six weeks
3. BrickUnderground reports that a Bed-Stuy brownstone re-listed three
days after it closed for 54% about its sales price and 43.5% above ave-
rage price/sq.ft. of comparable Bed-Stuy brownstones then in contract
4. drew over 100 attendees at its open house
5. and received five offers, three over ask
6. in today's market, those numbers are evidence that the market is
slowing down
Your not sleeping way overpriced for the east side
1. I looked at some Fort Greene condos and coops today
2. prices there seemed to be rising exponentially
"Mediocre view at best"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That has NO view at all. Looking at an ugly building from all windows is a view???? I think not.
