For renters looking at apartments in this building, I recently viewed three apartments in this building (two available for Apr1, one for Apr-May). As someone who is tired of viewing newly renovated studios-turned-3bedrooms, figured I'd share. - True 3bedroom means three rooms that each fit a queen/full, but nothing else - At least one "bedroom" in each apartment I saw lacks windows and/or a closet (very problematic since each room will literally only fit a bed) - "Big" living room means you can maybe fit a love seat, but nothing else - likely not even a loveseat + coffee table - "Huge" living room means its actually normal sized - Bathrooms were nice, definitely the highlight - Elevator building + doorman + laundry in basement make this a luxury apartment - Beware "duplex" apartments, as they all seem to be first floor + basement turned apartment -- basement gets little to no natural light, and this building is in Zone A. Pre-Hurricane Sandy, there were no living spaces on the basement level, and if something similar happens again, you can guarantee the mini sub-pumps being added under the staircase won't save your stuff.
