Discussion about
I like what has been done to the site, didn't even mind the new/old change and really like the current design. However since Zillow took over I am getting a lot of ads that block content etc. I am usually pretty good at opting out/blocking this stuff, can't seem to figure it out. Any one else? I thought it was Chrome, but other sites are all clear. Keith Burkhardt The Burkhardt Group
Recommend installing AdBlock Plus. It's a free extension and should stop the pop-ups.
Thanks flarf. Blocked the ads, but now the "reply" button doesn't work when opening SE via Chrome! Lol.(on explorer now)
1. recommend using a different website
2. Zillow has increasingly ruined this one
This has never happened to me on different browsers.
The worst is on the old Streeteasy, c0lumbiac0unty would just pop up all the time.
StreetEasy: The site is not working correctly when opened in Chrome. I can't click the reply button when I add a comment. Also some other buttons don't work, like contact us at the bottom of the help page.
I use Chrome and have neither ads that block content nor problems posting. This could be that SE targets RE professionals (which I'm not) with ads or that there might be malware locally that needs to be addressed.
Dear streeteasy:
Please resolve the problem that Keith B. is experiencing.
(He knows how to use power-tools, to install window-sills and stuff.)
I re-installed Chrome.
So, KeithB: How's that working for you?
All well Truth. My old version of Chrome must have gotten infected by something.
Looks like Zillow grayed me out for criticizing this site
rb:
1/a): relax
2/b): your real life is not affected by it
3/c): Have you tried to install new Chrome?
rb345 has been greyed out for at least 6 months now, pre-Zillow.

Personality disorders make life so troublesome.
