Architect rec needed - Apt combo in WVill townhome

Hi all: I live in an 1840's townhouse co-op in the West Village. Our unit is a 2/2 duplex and the unit above ours is listed for sale. We believe the two apartments can be combined and are planning on making an offer but we'd like to meet with an architect to get a better idea of the overall feasibility of the combination. I've spoken with the other board members and do not think that approval will be an issue. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good architect with experience in working with townhomes (preferably in the West Village)? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Maybe call Matthew Bremer? -- most of the samples on his website are modernist, but you can ask him about the townhouse reno he's doing in the Village.
