Noticed that some of the listings are now listing for 33 percent increase in price compared to last year. e.g. http://streeteasy.com/building/161-west-16-street-new_york/17b http://streeteasy.com/sale/1011770-coop-161-west-16th-street-chelsea-new-york I guess co-ops in prime location holds their value. my wish is that the increase will spread to other parts of Manhattan. :)

33% is low. Some are asking 100% from 12-18 months ago
