Elevator situation is absolutely terrible. Need to leave 15 min early to make it to work in case elevator is out, which is about 2-3 time week. According to long standing residents it has always been this way. I walked down 38 flights of stairs to get to work and no apology by staff. They are GREAT staff but not in control of elevator problems and so used to it they act like robots regarding elevator. DO NOT RENT here without understudying this. otherwise great buildings and staff.

And that doesn't even include the 25 minutes to get from Queens into Manhattan.

exercise caution with new ownership in place as of Summer 2022. They bought at market peak and will come for their pound of flesh. Expect the place to be run like a private equity carcass, not a home untl they've hit their return hurdles over the next 5-7 years.
Despite a stunning driveway and entryway, the insides are in need of serious repair. ventilation is non-existent, AC/heating is not adequate for three seasons of the year and proximity to the highway is an issue for any of the lower floors. Elevators are likely to be broken for 3 months of the year and are frankly a health and safety hazard in a 50 story building.
