The Landmark - Any real 2br in this building?

All the apartments in this building seem like one bedroom with only combination units being real 2br+ apartments. Was the whole building constructed with only 1br apartments? Strange. Also, the prices seem to have gone up wildly since 2012/2013 - some 01 lines for example were selling below the 1M price range, and now the 01/06 lines seem to be priced in well above 1M.

The original plans are at http://nyre.cul.columbia.edu/projects/view/17723#images. Looks as if they were all one-bedrooms. The corner apartments had separate dining rooms, but bath layout seems intended to prevent using it as a second bedroom.

3401 seems to be priced well until you look at other 01 lines.

A 1974 NYT article by Paul Goldberger says almost all the apartments in new buildings going up then were one-bedrooms, since that size rented fastest.

He liked the Landmark's architecture, at least as compared to the rest.

NWT:
and, that's the way it was in 1974.
