Delay on sending the board package

I just have a question, and would like to see if someone here can help me out: We signed contract to buy a unit (cash) on april 4th, and we have provided promptly the documentation needed according to the board package application. Even though the application is signed and the package is ready, our real estate agent, as of today, april 30th, says he will "meet with the seller's broker to review the board package" before submitting it to the management company on may 1st. The question is: Is that the normal process that the buyer's broker has a meeting with the seller's broker to "review" the completed board package or can we tell our broker to submit the board package to the management company without further delays?
