Finding a furnished sublet for 6 months?

Hello, I am looking for a furnished two bedroom or 1 converted to 2 bedroom apartment in Manhattan for a rental of 6 months. Many friends however, have said that they had no luck in finding such thing. I find this impossible as Manhattan is filled with endless living options. When I narrow it down to the neighborhoods though, the search gets tough. I am ideally searching for Chelsea, Midtown West, Soho, West Village and even East Village. If any of you have any advice, suggestions, etc. please feel free to comment. I would love your help and advice. Especially if you know of a liable company that can help you get something affordable.
