South Harlem vs. Hamilton Heights:

Hi everyone, I wonder what you would do if you have to choose between the following two apartments, which is really a space vs. neighborhood question. 1. 1-bedroom in South Harlem, 111th and Frederick Douglas Blvd. Renovated, small and post-war. Close to many things on FDB. 2. 1-bedroom in Hamilton Heights, 144th and Riverside Dr. (on Riverside). Also renovated. Larger, pre-war and glorious river view. I love the apartment and the view, but not too much the neighborhood. There was a lot of trash and it seems a little noisy around 145th (not RSD). The neighborhood is not as gentrified and it is also not as nice and clean. Apt. is less expensive. Your thoughts?
