I used to work for a firm that opened a site in Easton about 25 years ago just because property was cheap. I used to go out there periodically. Some employees who worked in NYC bought homes there and did the reverse commute. The article is correct. The commute from Easton to the office was shorter than going from Bay Ridge to the office, especially if you had to work over time.
