Sale at 1311 Pacific Street #201

Dodgy affair. Seller's agent told me that the seller (who turned out to be his wife ...) had accepted my offer. So I spent quite some time and money (lawyer fees, appraisal report etc) on the purchase of this unit. But when everything was ready to sign the contract of sale, seller suddenly withdraw her acceptance with not a word of explanation (even not after I wrote a long and polite email confirming my interest). I thought it had something to do with the outgoing tenant (with whom the seller had a dispute) or with water leaks that were discovered in the unit/building. But the reason is clear now; they just wanted to relist the unit at a higher price. All my efforts/costs in vain ...
