A lot of proverbial water under the bridge since October 2008, now we enter the last stretch before 2015. Time certainly does fly! I was one of those bears advising my clients to tread lightly in those dark days of winter 2009, I had clients calling me asking to get back in the sales game, they had faith in NYC real estate. So far, that decision to purchase NYC real estate was a brilliant one as I look over previous deals of 2009, 2010... The discussions on SE were heated (to say the least) on the macro effects of the credit bubble, $500 a F2 for prime NYC apartments etc.. One thing for sure StreetEasy changed the playing field, was a great platform to voice opinions, share ideas or get help renovating a kitchen. I don't know what the future holds, but I'm glad to see NYC humming along after all shes been through! Hope everyone enjoyed their summer!! Keith Burkhardt TBG [less]
Thanks, Mr Burkhardt ... you too!
Although summer's not really over until mid-October, when the surf gets too cold. Sidecars remain nicely chilled year-round though, so there's that.
Hey alan, wow, this summer you got into the 12K post range!
Very true Alan, however we know that emotionally summer checks out on 9/2. That said sidecars and white attire are okay in my book through October.
White attire is never okay. LOL!
Thanks for the well wishes.
I remember those heated discussions well. The bears ran SE back in '09 and '10 and excoriated anyone who deigned to disagree with them. I made my own purchase at the end of '09 and it turned out to be the best financial decision one could possibly make. Props to all who had the vision and fortitude to buy when everyone else was selling.

Ugh, tell me about it. I wasn't around back then - I only joined a little over a year ago - but I can only imagine. Hopefully most of those people have moved to Williamsburg and adopted grown kids to watch the house when they go on vacation, or moved to Florida to avoid taxes while advocating bigger government, or bought into a portfolio of condos in order to take advantage of the poor while leaving their mothers to wilt away.
