Discussion about
Hello world -- I've founded my own brokerage, a REBNY-member firm based in Tribeca. The name "front_porch" was taken (extremely long story) so I'm switching my name here .. to upstairs. Same clients, same me, just with new labels in all my clothes. I look forward to continuing to chat with y'all. ali r. {downtown broker}

Congrats Ali. I have always appreciated your advice and input on se discussions. I agree that "upstairs" is a better name.

Thanks all! Let's see if this posts as "fp" or "upstairs."

RB: My office is in an elevator building, but it is on the second floor. I also liked the "townhouse-y" connotation, and it was the only name that tested well with the millenials as well as the oldies. Plus, it was my mom's suggestion, and you don't say no to the judge.

Ali:

1. my mother used to also tell me what to do

2. but after trial and error, I found that tying her up and leaving her in a closet
without foot or water for 3-4 days helped her to better appreciate my point
of view

Congratulations, Ali! I like your new business address. Let's hit Sun Cafe for sushi (or Bouley after you close your next big deal).

Are Upstairs' services available in C0lumbia C0unty? Or is it limited to counties with homes with second stories?
