Having lived here for a couple years, I can say that the water and elevator will be turned off at a moment's notice (for up to a week in the case of the elevator) and the doormen rarely actually do anything other than read a newspaper or leer at my wife as she tries to carry boxes through the closed door. Horrible service, grumbling maintenance men who are occasionally outwardly mean to residents and a seemingly deaf management. We're moving out as soon as we can, I recommend you don't move in.

This building is very clean with lots of long term residents (ie elderly population) which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it. If you are expecting full service/white glove doorman, this is not the place for you - doormen are great guys but 2 of them will straight up not acknowledge you until they get to know you, after that they will help you when they feel like it, the other doormen are lovely. The construction noise is unbearable at the moment as a luxury residence is going up next door - but most residents are sticking it out, including myself for the reasonable rents.
