Discussion about 465 Carroll Street #3A
Looks like shoddy construction to me. How can the floors already look warped on a new building? And why is the front door so high? Also, someone in the market to spend 1.7 million on a condo in Gowanus is going to expect much more than this. You can't even cook in the kitchen, there is no counter space.

Not that I'm justifying the absolutely stupid price of $1.7 million for a small two-bedroom apartment in Gowanus, but the floors likely aren't warped, they're just uneven. For $1.7 million, however, I would have expected the contractor to even out those floors.

I've seen much tighter kitchens. But yes, for $1.7 million in Gowanus, it should be three times the size, and it should be its own room -- not just appliances in one corner of the living room.

And as for that door, I don't think that's the front door -- I think that's an access door out to the roof.
