Wimbledon Benches

Discussion about The Wimbledon at 200 East 82nd Street in Yorkville
I am a prospective renter at the wimbledon. I passed the building today and some crazy homeless lady was screaming and making all sorts of sounds. Is that on a regular basis? Has anyone ever had any issues? Is there an effort to keep homeless/ drunk people from sleeping on the benches? what is the story with the benches? Are they there for a reason? looks like they are doing more bad than good.

Update- I moved in and there are no issues. That one day I was passing by was a coincidence. There's a crazy homeless lady that walks around the area and screams really loudly; which I can hear her from the 20th floor. I have never seen her sitting on the benches since and the benches are actually empty 95% of the time. Other times, people use them to speak on the phone and nannies with strollers. I love the building, staff and residents are really nice.
