At a minimum, the kitchen and master br closet were renovated since it last traded, and based on the listing, that renovation is still ongoing, however, the designer definitely did not optimize storage, which is still seriously lacking. Otherwise, it seems like it's in decent shape and it has a nice layout. Without any other info, I'd guess that it'll probably go for around $1.6-$1.65.

storage which is seriously lacking" is definitely an understatement, as 2 bedrooms don't even have a closet, and other than the master bedroom there are only 2 small coat closets.

This market is nuts.

Look at the floor plan from the previous sale of the apartment:

http://streeteasy.com/sale/599993-coop-123-west-93rd-street-upper-west-side-new-york

They made the closet in the master bedroom a walk-in by removing the closet from the neighboring bedroom. They are in the process of restoring the half bath for the maid's room, taking out the closet that had been installed.

I saw one large apartment in the Ruppert Yorkville complex where the people eliminated all the closets and installed wall unit systems instead making the rooms very cramped. The wall unit systems were removable pieces of furniture. Despite the beautiful renovations of the kitchen and bathrooms, the apartment was on the market for well over a year when everything else was selling within 30 to 60 days.
