Discussion about
Are there any good recommendations for mortgage firms that know the Hamptons market well? Looking to purchase a 2nd home in the $2 mm range, 50% LTV, but want someone who knows the appraisal and underwriting there inside out. (already have place in city). Have had too many experiences in the Manhattan market with underwriters that have no clue on the situation here. Thanks for any info in advance.

I have a home in East Hampton; have owned it for over 15 years. I know the market very well. I am a mortgage broker and a real estate broker. Feel free to contact me.

A DE Capital employee has written a review on Glassdoor.com with a "don't recommend" one-star rating, citing, among other things, "slow processing" and an apparent clueless hierarchy. FYI.
