Discussion about 100 West 89th Street #5N
Any opinions on this building? Noise/construction, views, etc.? Is this apt. overpriced by about 500k or am I missing something?
Overpriced on a grand scale! No changes to apartment since 2006 or 2007. Was 3 bedroom convertible to 4 bedroom; dining room had own a/c and 2 windows to make 4th bedroom. Purchaser in 2005 tore down walls to make "open concept". Apt. had Citi-proof windows to block noise from playground and Stryker Bay housing across the garden . Building replaced windows so not sure Citi-proof windows still there. "Child friendly" building meaning expect children using public hallways as play area. No service elevator. No access to gym and children's playroom via elevator; use stairs.
But there is a 7/11 and a Domino's pizza downstairs!!
I thought the 7/11 was on the other side of 89th St.
7/11 is on west side of Columbus. It's new and not a particularly shady one. Agreed though, I find this building overpriced generally.
