Discussion about
Why can i sometimes get the building floor plans when I go to Streeteasy and sometimes get a new format which has far less information?
Hello,
Thanks for your comment! As a StreetEasy Product Specialist, I just wanted to reach out for more clarification regarding this.
In general, the floorplans that we have for each building are dependent on what the listing agents input for their listings. Therefore, floorplans details may vary. Please feel free to contact support@streeteasy.com if you have further questions.
Another way to possibly find floor plans that the broker does not provide is go to the streeteasy site for the actual building and find the right column and go down to floorplans. This lists all floorplans for the building that were previously submitted and you might find it there. Or you might be able to find the floorplan of the same line on a different floor which could be the same.
I checked several Street Easy sites, and they no longer show floorplans like they used to.
Go to the page for the building you are interested in. Below the "Available units" there is a clickable "view unavailable units". There are floorplans next to those units. Not the same as it used to be....
Yeah, basically the sire redesign took away the repository of floorplans buildings used to have. It's also a lot more inconvenient - and frequently impossible - to look up comparables and sales history for a specific unit. This site redesign was very poorly thought through.
Go to the building page (for example, https://streeteasy.com/building/670-west-end-avenue-new_york) and then add /floorplans to the URL. :)
Sometimes I really don't understand the necroposting here
