Washer/Dryer Installation

Does any one have recommendations on vendors for installing new washer and dryers? Looking to buy separate washer and dryers that can be stacked so if one breaks, we wouldn't need to replace the whole thing. Any recommendations on washers and dryer models would be welcomed!

You'll probably need a plumber to install the washing machine. do you need full size? vented? electric? gas?

Assuming no changes to the building plumbing, venting, etc., why not just use the installation services of the place you bought it from? That way if anything goes wrong, there's no finger pointing between the vendor and the installer.

Akzo is best for compacts. But they just discontinued their line. Very expensive but whisper quite and well built. You can still buy them though. Bosch and LG are good, not as good but much less expensive.
