Discussion about
This was a huge time savings and collaborative feature for customers and me. We used to get email updates every day and could see listings that we saved. Why would Zillow roll back a feature? $75 is more than any other site charges for their real estate services... I'm really surprised and hope this discussion topic sparks them to restore the function

They did it to me and I was able to get them back. Ask them nicely :)

@the_nerve thanks for the comment. I emailed them and asked if they could restore the functionality. The first reply was a no, I'll try again.

@the_nerve and @snezanc

Thank you for writing about the Shared Folder feature. We appreciate the feedback. We are working on ways to help make saving items a better experience on StreetEasy. While we do not have plans to bring back the shared folder feature, it is still possible to share your saved searches and listings with others.

There is a "Share Listings" link that can be found near the top right corner of the Folder page when you are viewing the Sales or Rentals tab. When you are viewing your searches, there will be an orange button below the bold blue description for each search you created, which says "Share Search." Once you share an item with another user, an email will be sent to them with the information you shared. They can then save the search or listings to receive updates.

Dear Streeteasy Support, the share listings feature does not work like the shared folder feature AT ALL. It is very disappointing that after years of using streeteasy that now that Zillow has bought streeteasy we are losing the features that made streeteasy so great to begin with. I dont remember even getting an email politely letting me know that even though I was being charged the same price I was always paying for streeteasy, that they were taking away some of the functions. My whole office was talking about how confusing this was.

Completely agree with all the above comments. Streeteasy is going downhill rapidly.

Can you please explain why you are taking away all the features that made streeteasy so great in the first place? At least letting us know would be the right thing to do. If you want this business to survive, you have to keep the subscribers happy. This building experts program is such a scam too. If you were willing to pay millions for streeteasy in the first place because it was such a great product, then why change something that wasn't broken? Agents having to "buy" their way in to being in front of buyers or sellers is such a racket. Disappointing.
