Discussion about
In my building's financial statement for 2014 there is an item of $561K for wages and when you include add-ons for union benefits, taxes, etc. the total bill for labor was $838K. There is a 24 hour doorman but only one at a time, so I figure that is the equivalent of four full time jobs, plus the super, plus the handyman. Not sure how it breaks down but how the heck can that get to $838K when elsewhere I read that the typical unionized doorman pulls in somewhere in the mid 40s per year?

It's probably seven or eight guys, so ~$800,000 sounds right. 24/7 doormen is more like five guys, when you figure weekends, vacations, etc. Check against the Christmas list you got last November, and at the annual meeting ask about the headcount.

Even if we say 8 guys, it's $100K each? For real?
