Rescheduling coop interview

We were notified today about a coop board interview on Monday. However, one of us is overseas and cannot make it back in time. We asked to resschedule and the managing agent made a big deal about how annoying and inconvenient this would be for the board. Will this hurt our chances to pass the interview in any way? Or will most boards be understanding of the circumstances?
