Broker Fee?

Discussion about 140 East 31st Street in Kips Bay
Is this a "No Fee" apartment with a leasing office on-site; or does it go through a broker to whom you have to pay 1-2 months' of rent?

2 months rent? Never. Go for a gift card to Elizabeth Arden or Old Navy.

If a broker charged you 2 month rents I feel sorry for you. I'll never do that to my clients. They definitely took advantage of you. Rentals are usually 12%-15% of the annual rent. Sometimes just one month rent depending on the situation but never 2 months rent.
