Discussion about 26-20 21st Street #PTH
Does anyone know if this area is safe? I know there is a code to to enter the building and I was told that a homeless person had the code and slept in the building this winter. I know there was a recent murder in Astoria park. I also was told that stuff in the building breaks and it takes a long time for them to get fixed.

The area is pretty safe, but it is true that a homeless person spent a lot of the winter nights in the hallway as you enter the building and in the basement. Not so safe for anyone. There is much better value in other parts of Astoria. I own my unit, but my neighbors had a nightmare of a time dealing the the horrible landlord. He does not fix anything and blames the tenants for breaking everything. I would avoid this building at all costs.
