We are new Manhattan co-op owners, and have no frame of reference for the contractor estimates we are getting. We would like to remove a wall of cabinets and have them replaced with custom-made units, replace granite counter top, add backsplash, remove dishwasher, replace sink and faucet, and add floor tiles under the counter area. The estimates we are getting vary greatly- any ideas on what is the norm? We are also removing and replacing the appliances- nothing fancy, likely GE.

How many linear feet is your kitchen?

Custom cabinets can vary on price depending on detail and finish. If I had to guess I would say 20k
