This is not a building you want to live in. It is a typical under-managed NYC landlord that takes advantage of his position to squeeze every cent out of the cash generating tenants. There are multiple allegations of apartment robberies, illegal subletting and over-occupancy in the building, unlicensed construction, harassment by the landlord and as well as the bully super. This building is very old Brooklyn and it is getting away with it. There are way better buildings around in safer parts of the neighborhood. Be sure to have renters insurance and get extra locks for your doors, it's big enough for many people to get in unnoticed at all hours of the day. The gym is disgusting, the party-going tenants use the decks as dog parks and they are filled with crap. The lobby is always in some ugly state of disarray. Do not park your car around here, there are break-in's near the bridge multiple times a week. [less]
