Hi Elodie, if you search for Hauseit reviews you'll see this thread which has already been started! http://streeteasy.com/talk/discussion/41463-hauseit-reviews-for-nyc

What did you end up doing for your sale? Did you try FSBO or full commission?

Elodie - curious if you ended up participating in this so called "underground fsbo" movement happening here in new york: http://www.inman.com/2016/07/25/the-underground-for-sale-by-owner-movement-in-nyc/

Also, seems like your post was from awhile ago, what did you end up doing?

@elodie_10128 - Hauseit does a tremendous amount of volume in the FSBO space here in NYC. They have hundreds of reviews online, including many in the thread above where regular users of these forums have chimed in with their experiences using Hauseit. Or you can simply google Hauseit reviews...

Selling FSBO in NYC used to be very difficult, but with new avenues like Hauseit the tables have definitely turned in favor of sellers: http://observer.com/2016/09/the-biz-of-the-fsbo/

Closing costs for sellers in NYC are already high enough without having to factor in 6% commission!

Actually the question was quite relevant at the time. StreetEasy has a feature that shows you when a comment was made. In this case if you look it says "almost 2 years ago" as of today. I'm guessing that Hauseit was fairly new then. But seems like there are a lot of reviews now. Kudos though for me I'm still going to stick with the "traditional" method ... call me old fashioned, but I have a long time broker family friend who I'm going to give my listing to.

I decided to sell my NYC Coop by owner in May of 2015. To make this venture successful, I knew that I needed to get on the major listings. The difficult one to get on is OLR (this is the MLS for NYC). Thus, I quickly found Hauseit.com and within a day or two, I was listed in the OLR database. After 2 open houses, and multiple offers, I closed in early July. The Hauseit team was great. The process was extremely easy and worth every cent! THANKS!!!
