Condo Market Index updating?

I was thinking the same thing. Is it perhaps trending down?

Thanks SES for explaining. Can we download the data still? I liked to compare the current data with a time in the past say December 2012 for example. I could just look at the index for manhattan for those two dates and compare. Is it possible to do that? I looked a the full repot in Dropbox, but couldn't see it there.

StreetEasy has retired the Condo Market Index, and for that reason this page is no longer being updated and will soon redirect you to our Market Report page.

As of last month, we introduced a new and improved index for Manhattan and, for the first time, Brooklyn. Each index incorporates all home types (condos, co-ops, townhouses) rather than only condos. The expanded indices, renamed the Manhattan Price Index and Brooklyn Price Index, follow the same repeat-sales methodology as our old index but now provide a much better measure of price movement in the borough since we’re looking at all types of residential resales.

The latest Manhattan and Brooklyn Index numbers (June) can be found in our Q2 Report on the StreetEasy Blog here: http://streeteasy.com/blog/market-reports/

Index numbers will be updated the last week of every month, reporting on the previous month’s sales activity. All future market reports and index updates will be published to the page linked above

The data isn’t currently publicly downloadable. We will be introducing a page later this month that will host a selection of metrics and historical data, including the Index, that will be downloadable and updated monthly.
